Early Childhood Calendar

The dissemination of materials to primary care providers and early care and education providers for distribution to families of children birth to five is one of the SEDMH team's top priorities. The "I Am Your Child" Calendar Parent Guides are supported by Texans Care for Children. This parent guide will serve as a statewide public awareness campaign in assisting parents in understanding the importance of early childhood development.

Programs and agencies that contributed to the dissemination of the calendar include the Office of the Attorney General Child Support Division, the Department of State Health Services, Texas HealthSteps and Immunization branch, the Texas Association for Infant Mental Health, Parents as Teachers, as well as the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. The "I Am Your Child" calendar will be available in Spanish and can be purchased through Best Publishing for $1.00.
