The Raising Texas vision is that all children ages birth through five will have access to quality early care and education programs. To this end, Raising Texas works to integrate into the early childhood system of early care and education services for children from birth through five years of age that support children’s early learning, health, development, and social competence. Texas strives to increase the understanding of the importance of a quality early care and education system, improve professional development opportunities for providers and administrators, and develop a feasible and evidence-driven early care and education monitoring and accountability system.
