Overview

As part of the Texas Senate Bill 54, 77th Legislature, Regular Session, 2001, the mission of this bill is to inform the Legislature on efforts of providing health and human services to children under the age of six which includes the development of any new programs as well as enhancements of current programs. As a result of this bill, the Raising Texas Data Committee was formed and charged with the mission of collecting and reviewing data specific to the birth through five population.
